Pictures with text... the crow again

I confess I like pictures with text inside. And if you are using some stencils they are really more than easy to make. This one is a version of my crow stencil.

Just use a picture editing programm like gimp (which is freeware) or photoshop (which is not ^^) or any other programm where you can make layers on the background picture.

Just open the stencil in the programm, make a new layer and create a textbox in the new layer. Write anything you want in the textbook and make sure that the colour of the text is the same as the background. That's all. Save. :) 

Little "written" glas stones...

Everybody uses this little glas nuggets to make cool decorational stuff. I love them (and it is years ago sinced I made my own ones)! So I was infected again and I made some with writings. I found some clear and light blue glas nuggets (I found more but the rest was not transparent enough to see something through the glas).

I just put the glas nuggets on a printed script, marked the shape around the glas nuggets, cut the paper piece out and glued it under the nugget (I used a transparent gemstone glue pen which was really cheap ^^). Afterwards I added a layer of white acrylic paint and that was it.

I love this magnifying glass effect especially on this non readable old script ^^

Beside the old script I printed some writings in a bigger size and searched for some word I liked in it to put them in the center and therefore "magnify" them. The basic (if you are curious) is Goethes "Faust II" in german.

I think the little flaws in the glas make a special effect :)

The can be put on magnets, on card, on gifts or collages... or just be used as they are. I like to make some with a special meaning for other persons.

Never enough stamps!

This new stamp collection from today is somewhat incoherent... I hope you may forgive me for that! It was just in some minutes in between that I made this or that out of leftovers... there wasn't anything specific on my mind...

So what do we have?

A little star, some words, ornaments... and an island! The shape of Formentera! Okay, I think I will redo it with a different kind of rubber but for a first try it is sweet :)

The grey background was stamped just with another eraser leftover... probably will transform into a smaller stamp sooner or later! But before that it can be used for stuff like this. :)

And please: Just give me suggestions what could be transformed into a eraser-rubber-carved-stamp!

Background: Stylish writing

Yes, I can not sleep at the moment. So I start to digitalize things which were on my to-do list. Like this great handwriting of Lachafa. My sister made an example of the writing in my sketch book for me. She invented the font all by herself as her secret writing style and yes, she wrote something down in my book and no, I didn't decipher it ^^

I want to have it so I could use it as a print for backgrounds or stuff like that. For cards or collages...

I also have just b/w versions from it. And it is easy to shade with nearly all photo / picture editing programs.
