Robert Proch first turned heads with giant outdoor murals in central Europe. His first ever solo exhibition Between Dimensions at The Outsiders Newcastle introduced the Polish painter to an international audience. Time for Change was one of the most popular pieces from that Winter 2012 show and it’s now available as a screen print edition limited to just 30 copies.
San Francisco's Brett Amory has been widely lauded for his combination of classic oil painting and distinctly contemporary themes. His latest exhibition Waiting #101 is showing until May 26th 2012 at The Outsiders Newcastle. These miniature 'waiters', inspired by Brett's signature series of 'waiting' tableux, are eminently collectible and will appeal enormously to the talented painter's throng of admirers.

Parisian provocateur Zevs creates some of our most in-demand editions. Liquidated Hammer & Sickle (Oligarch Version), limited to only ten prints, uses black gloss UV-reflective paint on matt black paper to produce a unique effect. Originally released in 2011 three have recently become available.

All of this week's online releases will be avaialble at 16:00 BST (that's 8:00 on the west coast of the USA, 11:00 on the east coast and 17:00 on continental Europe) Thursday 26th April 2012.

New print by Conor Harrington, 'The Modern Monarchy'- released today

Conor Harrington | Modern Monarchy
Giclée print with 22-carat gold leaf and silkscreen gloss on Somerset Satin 330gsm paper
Edition of 125
signed and numbered by the artist
117cm x 94cm
£350

'Conor Harrington’s spectacular, sold-out Spring 2012 show Dead Meat depicted a fantastical, imaginary feast representing the decadent collapse of European hegemony. The young Irish painter combined Neo-classicism and the graffiti art of his roots to produce a momentous body of work, internationally lauded for its skill, opulence, imagination and eloquence. Exhibited at Lazarides Rathbone gallery, Dead Meat (pictured below) saw Harrington join the very select band of former graffiti artists who have successfully negotiated the crux to ‘high art’ status.

The Modern Monarchy print inspired by Dead Meat follows the runaway success of Harrington’s When We Were Kings edition earlier this month. Made at our dedicated Execution Dock studio, each boasts hand-applied gold leaf flourishes (on the buttons of the subject's frock coat) and is finished with a silk screen gloss.

Modern Monarchy will be available from 16:00 BST (that’s 08:00 on the west coast of the USA, 11:00 on the east coast and 17:00 on continental Europe) Thursday 19th April 2012 at The Outsiders.'

Brett Amory solo show 'Waiting 101' - at The Outsiders, Newcastle

Widely considered one of the breakthrough artistic talents of the past year, Brett Amory is best known for his 'Waiting' paintings – a body of work documenting figures and landscapes in his locality that spans the last decade.

The compositions in the exhibition focus on Amoryʼs newfound relationship with technology, and the implicit freedom it allows in his work. Delving into documentation methods which new modes of ambulatory technology offer, Amory experienced a metamorphosis in his painting preparation and application. With intimate, firsthand knowledge of the many ways that technology can affect the lives of those it touches, Amory explores the avenues itʼs opened up for him as an artist in Waiting 101.

'Waiting 101' is open to the public from 20th April - 26th May 2012, Tuesday to Saturday 12 - 6pm

RAVI ZUPA 'Nothing Teaches Needs' - solo show coming soon at The Outsiders gallery London

'The Outsiders London is delighted to announce the first ever UK solo show by Denver-based artist Ravi Zupa. It's sex, samurais, exotic goddesses, rappers, guns and money. Zupa uses passionate visual vocabulary to preach messages of compassion which explore the denial of human emotional needs.
Zupa, is a multi-disciplinary artist working in sculpture and with works on paper.'

He employs recycled materials such as “blueprints, envelopes and old letters salvaged from dumpsters” to work on using “graphite, coloured pencil, India ink, latex and acrylic paint, oil paint and pastel, chalk pastel, relief, block print cut from traffic cones, silk screen and collage – whatever is required.” And in this way the process reflects the message – be aware of needs, and the rewards will be apparent.'

Friday 13th of January 2012 to Saturday 3rd of March 2012
