The American Nightmare - a breakdown of the horror film genre

Warning! This film contains disturbing imagery from actual events in history...oh and some fake blood thrown in for good measure. This comes highly recommended as a guide to those classic horror films such as, Night of the Living Dead, Last House on the Left, Dawn of the Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc. - with interviews from the likes of John Landis, John Carpenter and Tom Savini. The American Nightmare looks at how horror became influenced by the events in the real world that surrounded it.

Here's the blurb:

'This is a serious look at some of the most groundbreaking and innovative horror films ever made. It is also incredibly graphic, disturbing and somewhat bleak and depressing, so consider yourselves warned. No hardcore fan of horror will want to miss this, but people with weak stomachs may not be able to take it.'
