Tech: Tele-Phonographers
Christopher Locke makes Analog Tele-Phonographers out of salvaged brass instruments and machine parts. These simple but beautiful devices act as retro-chic speakers for mobile devices. It all began with the The Zurich (video).
The Analog Tele-Phonographer (Version 1) is a sound amplifier for my cell phone / portable music player.
I made it from a broken trumpet and a fistful of scrap metal. The unit uses no external power or batteries, has no moving parts, and is entirely self-contained.

Sculpture: Aeolus
Most of the sound sculptures we see involve some sort of electronic or digital reaction. It’s rare to find something fully analog that will really blow your mind. Aeolus is a sound sculpture that relies only on the wind, amplifying its movements and giving us a sense of its presence like never before.
The piece is an arch adorned with a crown of round steel pipes that point out in all directions. As the wind blows through Aeolus, it creates a range of ambient tones that shift with the direction and intensity of the wind.

Video: Sometimes the Stars
"Sometimes the Stars" is a gorgeous new song from Adelaide, Australia band The Audreys, taken from their 2010 album of the same name. The accompanying short animated film, produced by Luke Jurevicius and directed by Ari Gibson & Jason Pamment, is about a lost girl’s journey through a surreal landscape, and her yearning to make a connection in this distant yet strangely familiar world.

Installation: Volume
Volume is a sculpture of light and sound, an array of light columns positioned dramatically in the centre of the garden.
Volume responds spectacularly to human movement, creating a series of audio-visual experiences. Step inside and see your actions at play with the energy fields throughout the space, triggering a brilliant display of light and sound.

Soundcloud
I love soundcloud! My brother use this site and gave me the link to it. It can be easily integrated to blogger... real cool! Some of the other music players have dificulties.
I already posted some of his music, this is another example. This time more chill out... It's really great! Hopefully he will make me a little collection of his stuff which I can upload and integrate into the sidebar (also with soundcloud ^^).
If you are curious: You can find more of his music here [ phono-uno ]
